Eleven people have been arrested over suspected involvement in County Lines drug dealing in Weston-Super-Mare.
It follows a day of action in conjunction with the Metropolitan Police on Monday (October 22) where properties in Weston-Super-Mare and Ilford in London were searched.
The operation was assisted by the National County Lines Coordination Centre, which helped to link up the activity between the two forces into a coordinated approach.
In Ilford, officers discovered two balls of class A drugs, five mobile phones and three sets of scales.
In Weston, a Taser was found along with mobile phones and cash.
Eleven people in total were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
Four were later charged and were due to appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court this morning (Oct 24):
• Yashin Yusuf, 18 of no fixed address, was jointly charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
• Abdulahi Daud, 18 of Dagenham, Essex, was jointly charged with conspiracy to supply class a drugs.
• Jermaine Dahir, 20 of no fixed address, was jointly charged with conspiracy to supply class a drugs.
• Sukhbir Sandhu, 46 of Clifton Road, Weston-super-Mare, was jointly charged with conspiracy to supply class a drugs.
