Bridgwater hotels filling up as thousands attempt to find rooms for the Bridgwater Carnival 2018.
This year’s event is expected to attract more than 150,000 people to Bridgwater from around the West County, Britain and abroad.
Visitors will be looking for overnight accommodation, not only to avoid travelling late at night, but to carry on with the party.
According to hotel listing site, Booking.com, dozens of hotels in the area, including Premier Inn, The Old Vicarage Hotel and The Tudor Hotel and Restaurant, appear to be fully booked on carnival night.
It means that anyone hoping to stay in the area on Saturday 3rd November, will have to book a room in a neighbouring town, like Taunton or as far as Street.
It’s not looking like the new Mercure Hotel on Eastover will be open ahead of the event as the Accor Hotel website is saying opening December 2018.
