Iceland is recalling packs of its own brand, Takeaway 10 Garlic Slices due to a labelling error which fails to alert shoppers that they could be harmful if you’re allergic to milk.

The garlic bread contains milk which could potenitally be harmful to people who are allergic or have an intolerance to milk. People who react badly to milk can experience problems with their digestive system if they consume it, such as diarrhoea, a bloated stomach, feeling sick and stomach cramps.

The packets weigh 260g and the ones that are being recalled have a sell by date of February 8th 2020, the product cost £1.25 per packet and you don’t need your receipt when bringing it back to the store.

If you have any concerns about the product, you can call Iceland’s customer careline on 0800 328 0800 and press option 3.
