Work is underway to improve the Council’s public car park at Mount Street in Bridgwater. The works, costing just over £15,000, have been designed to provide and light, bright and safe environment and will include:

  • The provision of railing to help improve navigation in & around the car park and also to help prevent joy-riding and anti-social behaviour
  • Replacing defective lighting with new LED style lights
  • Repairing and patching potholes.

It is expected that these improvements will extend the life of the car park until such a time as the site is redeveloped as part of the wider Northgate regeneration scheme.
